Hike to the Glenrose Conservation Area with our executive director, Jeff Lambert. The hike ends in a spectacular view of the Spokane Valley. You will be able to see the "Natural area" we are trying to connect to to create our Dream Trail. The trip is 5 miles round trip and includes three short steep sections. Walking sticks may be advised. Pace will be moderate - no one will be left behind. There will be a shorter three mile option.
Various trail segments are owned by Dishman Hills Conservancy, Spokane County Conservation Futures and State Dept. of Natural Resources.
Bring water and a snack. Dress for the weather with shoes appropriate for hiking. Ending time is approximate.
We will carpool from the Ferris High School parking lot at 37th and Ray Street.
The trailhead has very limited parking along the road at the end of Thierman Road. To get there, turn east on 37th from Glenrose. Turn right on Eastern and follow the road around to 44th and turn left on Thierman and go to gate.
