Hike to the Glenrose Unit of the Dishman Hills Conservation Area
New Parking area is Open!
This hike goes to the Glenrose Unit of the Dishman Hills. It is 5.5 miles round trip over sometimes steep terrain and moderate difficulty. The trail starts at the end of Thierman Road in the Glenrose area and ends at the "Cliffs" in 2.25 miles with a sweeping view of the Spokane Valley . Because of the distance and elevation changes, the ramble is moderately difficult. Pace will be slow. There will be nature and conservation information stops.
Dogs are allowed on leash. No parking pass required.
Bring hiking poles, snacks, water and dress for the weather. Because of the advanced terrain, boots and traction devices would be most appropriate footwear.
Event is free, but registration is requested
Note: trip leaders will decide IF cancellation is warranted and notify registrants of cancellation by 6 am the previous morning to the hike. So, check your emails the day prior to the scheduled hike.
