Private Tour of the Wilson Conservation Area
Join DHC Executive Director Jeff Lambert for a tour of the Wilson Conservation Area.
What once was a homestead of the Wilson family is now a beautiful 137-acre conservation area that will be managed by the Dishman Hills Conservancy. The area encompasses a variety of important ecosystems including wetlands, pristine forest, and ideal wildlife habitat for local flora and fauna. The acquisition of the Wilson property is instrumental in the DHC's effort to preserve biodiversity, habitat, and future recreation areas in Eastern Washington.
Please wear sturdy footwear and bring water if you wish. Please meet Jeff in the lobby of the Shape Executive Center at 5915 S Regal St. 99223. The doors will be open on Saturdays and locked on Sundays. Jeff will meet you outside the front doors on those days.
RSVP is required - the Wilson Conservation is closed to the public and accessed by guided hike only.
