Join Executive Director, Ruth Gifford as she leads this hike from the Phillips Creek trailhead. Our goal for the day is to enjoy being outside. We will walk rain or shine and lets keep our fingers crossed for a delightful day with no dreadful weather. Register so I can notify you of cancelations due to illness or disaster.
Where: Phillips Creek (4102 S. Sunderland Drive)
When: Wednesday, January 15th at 2PM.
Why: Be outside.
Hike Description: This hike will be a slow to moderate pace while I am recovering from respiratory illness. Elevation gain is about 300 feet. We will be stopping less frequently to make it to the fire within our time limit. .
Length: 2 miles.
Time: About 2 hours depending upon stops, the number of attendees, and the trail conditions.
We will walk in snow, rain or shine, so please dress for the weather and wear sturdy shoes or boots. Consider traction devices for your footwear and/or poles.
