Welcome to the Glenrose Trail!
Join Executive Directory, Ruth Gifford and Resource Development Officer, Tim Theis, as they introduce you to the wonderful Blue Bunch Loop Trail at Glenrose Trailhead. Enjoy being out in nature and visiting the Glenrose Conservation Area of Dishman Hills. We will explore new flowers appearing with the season and introduce you to the work of D.H. Conservancy, the oldest land conservation organization in Washington State.
Where: Glenrose Trailhead (3700 S. Thierman Road)
When: Wednesday, April 16th, 5:30PM.
Why: Become familiar with a gentle, easy trail at the Glenrose Trailhead while enjoying the benefits of being in nature.
Hike Description: This hike is easy for most with an elevation gain of about 150 feet at the start, followed by level or very gently sloped for most of the remainder. We will go down 150 feet to return to the parking lot.
Length: 1 mile.
Time: About 90 minutes depending upon stops and the number of attendees.
Location: Glenrose Trailhead, 3700 S. Thierman Rd, Spokane WA 99223.
This is off of S. Glenrose Road, east on E. 37th Ave, right on S. Eastern Rd up the hill to S. Thierman Road. Google maps has the Glenrose Trailhead location correct.
We will walk in rain or shine, so please dress for the weather and wear sturdy shoes or boots. Bring water. Plan for wind as this trail is in the open and experiences western winds.
