Spokane Conservation District Tree Sale

Join us at the Spokane Conservation District's Tree Sale Pickup & Surplus Sale Weekend.

The Spokane Conservation District (SCD) is gearing up for one of its largest community events of the year: the annual Tree Sale Pickup & Surplus Sale Weekend. In just two days, more than 110,000 tree and native plant seedlings will be distributed across the region, with over 1,200 pre-orders placed by forest landowners, homeowners, and conservation partners.

While online pre-orders have closed, the public is invited to attend the Surplus Sale, where thousands of additional plants will be available on a first come, first served basis, starting at just $4

The Tree Sale Pickup & Surplus Sale Weekend pairs a smooth, efficient pickup experience with a lively, educational festival atmosphere -- bringing together eco-minded neighbors and garden enthusiasts to connect, learn, and be inspired while exploring booths hosted by local environmental organizations, engaging with local experts, and enjoying live music, vendors, and food at the Scale House Market.

“This event is about more than just picking up trees,” said Garth Davis, SCD Forestry Manager. “It’s about connecting our community with the resources, knowledge, and inspiration to care for our land and invest in a healthier future.”

Event Details:

WHEN: Friday, April 10 | 8 AM – 5 PM

Saturday, April 11 | 9 AM – 12 PM

WHERE: Spokane Conservation District Campus

4422 E. 8th Ave., Spokane Valley, WA

WHAT: Tree Sale Pick-up and Surplus Sale Festival

This event also serves as the kickoff to a month of Earth Day and Arbor Day celebrations, inviting the community to take part in meaningful environmental action.

With tens of thousands of trees going into the ground each year, SCD’s Tree Sale continues to play a critical role in supporting reforestation, habitat restoration, and urban canopy growth across Spokane County-- further strengthening programs like CoolCanopy, which brings trees to neighborhoods that need them most, and the Natural Resource Youth Apprenticeship Program, which is building career pathways for the next generation of conservation leaders.

Celebrate trees. Celebrate community.

Please note: This is to inform you of other opportunities in our community. DHC is not managing or sponsoring this event.
