Hike the Iller Creek Loop trail to Rocks of Sharon with Stuart Grossman, DHC Board Member
Welcome to the Iller Creek Trail.
Join Board member, Stuart Grossman, as he leads this hike. Enjoy being out in nature and visiting a popular trail. We will explore this great loop trail.
Where: Iller Creek Trailhead - 9001 E Holman Rd, Spokane Valley, WA 99206
When: Saturday, May 9 at 9:00am
Hike Description: This trail is an iconic trail in the Dishman Hills. It is especially beautiful and green with lots of wildflowers this time of year. It is classified as "Moderate " in difficulty. It is 5.2miles long and it has 1,250 foot elevation gain throughout this hike. Highlights include magnificent views throughout the hike and impressive rock formations at the Rocks of Sharon. The trail is in excellent shape. It will take us around 3.5 hours that will include a nice snack break at the top. I hope you will join us!
Length: 5.2 miles.
Time: About 3.5 hours depending upon stops and the number of attendees.
We will walk in all weather. Be prepared for warm and sunny conditions. Please dress for the weather and wear sturdy shoes or boots. Bring water and a good snack.
