Waikiki Takes Root: A Community Planting Day with INLC

Join Inland Northwest Land Conservancy for Waikiki Takes Root – Day 2, our next community planting day at Waikiki Springs Nature Preserve on Saturday, October 17, from 10am to 2pm.

This fall’s planting picks up where Waikiki Takes Root left off. Volunteers got the first native plants in the ground earlier this month, and there’s more good ground to cover—so we’re heading back out with more hands to put down more roots. Whether you joined us the first time or this is your first day at the preserve, you’re welcome.

Please plan to park by 9:30am. It’s about a 30-minute walk from parking to the planting area, and we want everyone on site and ready to plant at 10. Staff and signage will be out to point the way.
