Waikiki Takes Root: A Community Planting Day with INLC

Join Inland Northwest Land Conservancy for Waikiki Takes Root – Day 3, the final community planting day of the season at Waikiki Springs Nature Preserve on Saturday, October 24, from 10am to 2pm.

This is where the season’s planting comes together. Volunteers, community groups, and partner organizations have been out at the preserve throughout October getting native plants in the ground, and this is the last day we’ll be at it. If you’ve been meaning to get out to Waikiki Springs this fall, this is your chance to be part of it—and if you joined us earlier in the month, come see how much has changed.

Please plan to park by 9:30am. It’s about a 30-minute walk from parking to the planting area, and we want everyone on site and ready to plant at 10. Staff and signage will be out to point the way.
