Big Rock in Winter
Sat. Dec 10, 10:00a.m.
Big Rock in Winter: This is likely to be a hike - cool weather and great views. The hike is three miles with 600 feet of elevation gain. This is a moderately difficult hike.
Bring an extra layer - it can be windy. Bring a snack and water. Hiking poles will be helpful. If there is snow, consider yaktrax or similar traction for your boots or snowshoes if there is more than a foot of snow. Register and we will inform you of the conditions, the day before.
There is a good road to the parking area. The County typically plows the snow but no guarantees.
