Eagle Peak Hike

Saturday, September 14th, 2 pm from Camp Caro

Hike with us to the aptly-named Eagle Peak in the Dishman Hills Natural Area with stunning views of the Spokane Valley. This is a moderately strenuous 4 mile hike in the northernmost area of the Dishman Hills. The view from Eagle Peak shows the possible connection to the south conservation units known as Glenrose and Iller Creek.

This is a moderately difficult hike on rough trails. The trails may be muddy or  in places ,so wear boots or shoes appropriate for uneven terrain. Weather can be iffy, so bring layers of clothing to stay warm and dry.

We will depart from Camp Caro at 2pm. Please park in the lower lot by Appleway and walk up to the Camp Caro Lodge. Bring water, snacks, and hiking poles if you wish. Dogs are allowed on leash. The hike is free, but we request you to sign up on our website so we know how many to expect.
